Well Said Wednesday, Again: Unsubscribes For The Win!

August 04, 2021 in Fear & Loathing in Mktg

I could feel myself teetering on the edge of "why bother" last Monday. (Yep, even people who do this for a living and who know that content marketing is a long game of trust building and credential establishing have weak moments.)

Well Said Wednesday: Try This

July 14, 2021 in Message Basics, Fear & Loathing in Mktg

Well Said Wednesday: Is Tinkering With Your Content Making It Better...Or Different?

June 23, 2021 in Fear & Loathing in Mktg

First drafts, second drafts, third drafts: all helpful for clear, clean messaging. Beyond that, you are making editing not a tool of improvement, but a tool of procrastination. Because putting your words — and putting yourself — out there is a vulnerable thing to do. It can feel so much safer to hide. Or tinker.

You probably can make that blog post better with a review and rewrite or two. But at some point you have to ask yourself
